Erroneous Assessments

When a taxpayer neglects producing his tax reports and/or his TVQ-QST's, the Revenue issues arbitrary assessments using data more or less updated.

Though the Revenue has full authority to issue such assessments, it seems that most of them show higher amounts benefiting the Revenue in order to get a reaction from the client.

When this happens, a taxpayer should immediately prepare and send any missing reports and start the necessary discussions to respond to the situation with the Revenue.

In this perspective, our firm can intervene efficiently by the Revenue by producing the missing reports for the taxpayer and therefore obtain assessments based on your real financial situation.

We are in a position to advise you adequately. If you are doing business with an accountant we can do business with him as well. On the other hand, if you are not accompanied, our office will happily provide you with the essential expertise of our accountants and tax lawyers necessary to your yearly tax planning.
